Forming at a Bristol club night in 2019 with a collective appreciation for the sonics of shoegaze, DAMEFRISØR’s alternative sound combines elements of post-rock and dance with driving rhythms and swirling guitars. Packed with energy and musical intricacies, previous singles ‘Do You Think I’m Special?’ and ‘2-HEH-V’ both received glowing receptions upon their release, with the latter becoming a firm favourite of Steve Lamacq that eventually landed a place on the BBC Radio 6 Music Playlist C List. Having played headline shows to capacity crowds in their hometown of Bristol and London, as well as supporting the likes of Katy J Pearson, Squid, Folly Group, Keg and more, DAMEFRISØR are now coming to a town near you with a live show that will make crowds long for more.
