BEIGE PINE
Beige Pine is breaking onto the Brighton music scene; empowered by the determination to claim his independent voice, he has unlocked his standout sound. Beige Pine (Scott Meadows) has grown through 17 years of musical evolution. His journey dictated for too long by the role of the supportive session musician; he is ready to stride front and centre, entering a new era as a solo artist.
Sourcing influence from the world around him, Beige Pine is the result of fretboard experimentation, whiling away the hours fishing for hooks and following their tail. Meadows has uncovered diamonds in his Alternative Folk Rock sound. Reminiscent of the raw, tender tones of Radiohead, Coldplay, Metronomy, and alongside a more biting influence from Avenged Sevenfold and Mastodon, Beige Pine is all about embracing the light nostalgias of guitar-based music and centring the listener. A musical perspective shaped by his authentic self, Beige Pine is a product of the pandemic and the realisation that infinite possibilities exist when you realise nothing is standing in your way. Fascinated with physics, outer space, and history, Beige Pine tracks are metaphoric takes as he ponders philosophies and translates them into developed atmospheric sonics that entrance the listener.
Beige Pine’s debut EP, ‘The Plant Room’, is now out everywhere. A milestone moment for any artist, its contagious artistry is ready to enrich your music taste and soothe your soul.
