With a poetic approach to songwriting, Mia crafts lyrics that delve deep into the complexities of human existence, offering a reflective exploration of life’s highs and lows. To be a medium sized dog is to be content and free. Over the last year Lily day has been writing Alternative Indie music under this name as a means of separating herself from her writing so she can further explore and understand her feminine rage, queerness and the love and loss alike that follows you in life like a stray. With inspiration from the likes of Adrienne Lenker/Big thief, Jeff Buckley and Indigo De Souza she likes to think she holds similar values and candidness in her songwriting, even if that means being direct and uncomfortable at times. After her debut at the Prince Albert back in April and the release of her first single approaching, she hopes you howl along with her.
